Please join us for our March Lunch and Technical Presentation. Jim Meats, of the Loren Cook Company, will present a program on the Impact of Changing Fan Regulations.
 
Registration will close Wednesday, March14th at noon. Walk-ins are no longer able to attend luncheons.  If you are planning to attend you must pre-register. 
 
Jim will present on 'Fan Regulation and its Impact'.  The talk will cover regulations, including those from the Department of Energy.  Also, codes and standards affecting fan selection, both from the perspective of the fan manufacturers and design professionals.  Fan efficiency ratings, requirements and controllability as it relates to other building systems. Emerging trends within the industry, which have evolved as a result of the changing regulations.  
 

Jim Meats
In the industry since 1982, Jim graduated with a B.S. in Architectural Engineering from Kansas State University and is a licensed professional engineer. Jim started his career as a consulting engineer, designing mechanical and electrical systems for commercial, industrial and institutional projects. 
He currently serves on the AMCA Board of Directors. Jim has served as Director of Engineering of the Loren Cook Company and currently serves as the Director of Marketing.
