ASHRAE Columbus Scholarships

Rod Mayo Scholarship Award

This scholarship is dedicated to Rod Mayo. Rod served as President of the ASHRAE Columbus Chapter from 1984-1985 and was very influential with ASHRAE. He was a pillar to the local engineering community and the Columbus construction market for 50 years. Rod was not only involved on the sale of the original HVAC equipment, but also later involved in the sale of its replacement and then again on a replacement for the replacement in numerous projects! Throughout his career, Rod never hesitated to educate not only his colleagues, but also engineers and contractors he supported. The stories he would share were always worth a listen and usually a chuckle as well. The engineering community is grateful for Rod’s service and contributions to the ASHRAE Columbus Chapter during his lengthy career.
