ASHRAE Columbus April 2018 Event

Please join us for our April 16th Lunch and Technical Presentation.  Phil Stafa will be presenting a program on the new AEP Building Design in New Albany, Ohio.

Registration will close Wednesday, April 11h at noon. Walk-ins are no longer able to attend luncheons.  If you are planning to attend you must pre-register.

The new AEP Transmission Building in New Albany is an all-electric, LEED certified building with estimated energy savings of more than 30% over ASHRAE 90.1-2007.  Phil will provide an overview of the HVAC systems used including variable refrigerant flow air conditioning and dedicated outside air rooftop units with heat recovery.  Some of the challenges to energy savings included a full service kitchen, an atrium smoke exhaust system, variable occupancy and end user maintenance requirements.  Lessons learned will be presented.  This project is scheduled to be nominated for a regional ASHRAE award.
