ASHRAE Columbus October Event
Monday, October 2, 2017 at 7:35AM Desiccant Dehumidification: Psychrometric and Applications
The presentation will include a review of psychometrics, a general overview of dehumidification systems, including a mechanical review, types of desiccants and how they work, plus active vs passive desiccant systems. An application using a surgical suite will be presented as an example.

Speakers:
Mel Meyers career has included positions with Proctor and Gamble Corporation, the Samsonite Corporation and an ownership position with HBI Automotive Glass. He is currently President and owner of Bry-Air in Sunbury, Ohio.
Mr. Myers attended Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire where he received one degree in Engineering Science and one in Mechanical Engineering in 1964.
